As part of Zabeel Investments commitment to sustainable development and good corporate social responsibility, we wanted to create a programme that would have a long-term impact on the future of the UAE, and in particular in fostering talent amongst the countries youth. This ideal saw the birth of Bidaya, an education and leadership programme aimed at providing national high school graduates with a top notch private university education, and access to the latest development tools and programmes.

We realised this dream was quite ambitious, and in seeking a partner with similar ideals, Nakheel came forward. Now together, Zabeel Investments and Nakheel have founded an AED 30 million education and leadership programme that was launched on the 4th April, 2007 has rewarded 20 students with an opportunity of a lifetime.
