Zabeel Investments is passionate about preserving and continuing the culture of the UAE. Anyone attending our first anniversary party would have seen our attempt to help people better understand the rich and diverse culture that makes up our varied emirates.
Zabeel Investments is particularly keen to keep the culture alive in Emirati youth, which was why we partnered with Sama Dubai on the Al Maidan programme, which saw groups of Yawils, young men and boys from across the UAE participate in the time honoured tradition of Al Youla. Al Youla is a dance performed exclusively by males, and was traditionally performed after a skirmish. Zabeel Investments participation in the event was rewarded in the more than 1,000 competitors that auditioned, and the resurgence of Al Youla being felt across the UAE.
Zabeel Investments has also been instrumental in supporting shooting and falcon hunting amongst young males, as a way of keeping traditions alive.
